Paul T. Hopper, formerly an instructor of German and related subjects, became a professional translator in 1980, and has worked since 1986 for the Department of State. He has published poems and translations of poems in various literary magazines; and a few articles, mostly in newsletters. He has been a featured reader a few times and has organized a few poetry readings. He belongs to a Toastmasters club and to the Writer’s Center in Bethesda, and for many years was a member of the Federal Poets.
