Katy Richey‘s work has appeared in Rattle, Cincinnati Review, Rhino, The Offing, Gargoyle, Torch, Beltway Poetry Quarterly, and the anthology Full Moon on K Street: Poems about Washington DC. She is a Callaloo fellow a 2009 Bread Loaf participant, a recipient of a Fine Arts Work Center Walker Scholarship for Writers of Color, and a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award. She co-hosts Busboys and Poets Sunday Kind of Love Poetry Series, sponsored by Split This Rock, and teaches English in Montgomery County, MD.
