Jean H. Johnson
Jean H. Johnson is the author of Forgotten Alphabet (Scop Publications, 1994). Individual poems of hers have been published in Beltway Poetry Quarterly, Poet Lore, the Larcom Review, the Hampton-Sydney Review, and the Potomac Review. Johnson raised a family of three children while living in Germany and Austria. In the DC area she taught high school English at Walt Whitman High, and read her poems at the Library of Congress, the Corcoran School of Art, and The Writers' Center. She was awarded a writer's residency at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and the Jenny McKean Moore seminar at George Washington University.
