Haley Leithauser

Hailey Leithauser is the author of Swoop, which won the Poetry Foundation's Emily Dickinson First Book Award and the Towson Prize for Literature. Her work appears widely in journals and anthologies including Agni, The Antioch Review, Field, The Gettysburg Review, Poetry, and The Yale Review, and she has been selected three times for inclusion in Best American Poetry. She was a coordinator for five years of the Cafe Muse reading series and teaches occasionally at the Bethesda Writer's Center. She lives in Silver Spring MD.
