Frank Goodwyn (1911-2001) wrote one book of poetry called Poems About the West (1975), two novels, a memoir, two other nonfiction books, and many scholarly articles and individual poems. His memoir centered around his childhood and subsequent life as a foreman on the King’s Ranch in Texas. He taught Spanish and Folklore at the University of Maryland and became the President of Federal Poets after his retirement.
