Elizabeth Poliner is the author of a chapbook of poetry, Sudden Fog (Spire Press, 2011), and a novel in stories, Mutual Life & Casualty (Permanent Press, 2005). Her journal publications include The Kenyon Review, The Southern Review, Prairie Schooner, and The Hopkins Review. She teaches in the MFA and undergraduate creative writing programs at Hollins University. She formerly taught at The American University, and spends her summers in DC, teaching courses at The Writers' Center.
